Woohoo, road trip!!! Me and mom are taking, well tuck, the train to SCAD (the collage I really, REALLY want to go to) today. So after our excursion with Ott’s normal morning stomach yuckies and retrieving StarBucks, we left Union Station at about 9:55. Its 7:55 and where STILL not at Savanna, ugh! Well we knew it was going to be an 11 hour journey but still, UGH!
I slept the first three hours, and lunch was ‘balloon’ pizza from the train (note to you all, do not…. NOT eat balloon pizza). Than I did some home work, than I screwed around on Photoshop (highly impressing my mother with my mad drawing-with-the-crappy-laptop-mouse-whall-on-a-wibbly-wobbly-train skills) and than my I-Pod died TT_TT, but I brought my charger 8D!
But lol the train is SO LOULD!

I’m riding to the loudest freaking train in the world ^^
But apparently the train has to honk at every road crossing, and there is a LOT of road crossings it seems. My Mim just thought that the conductor was button happy XD
And than in we where waiting to get off the train and there’s these two women (a couple, I bet you money) who are apparently English because one turns to the other and goes “did you have a good snoozie-woozie” in this English accent. So I turn to my mother and my mom turns to me as we both make the ‘I’m trying really really hard not to laugh because it’ll be rude’ face, and the second we’re shore there out of ear shot my mom turns to me and goes in a fake English accent ‘did you have a good
snoozie-woozie” and we both break into hysterics 8D
So now I’m in the hotel room, we went out to dinner because we agreed that we weren’t eating balloon pizza again, so we got to see some of Savanna. The arcutecure is Gorgeous! The place liooks like a mix of downtown Richmond and New Orleans! ^^
OH, and the circus is in town, image that XD

So we had foods at the hotel in the morning before we went to sign in and have an opening thing, than we went to a portfolio seminar. And THAN we went to talk to a portfolio counselor. So the lady sent me to a film counselor because that’s what I want to do, I want to edit films. So we come into the room and I met this old guy with a thick accent, who was really nice. And he really likes my portfolio, he gave me great advice on my ‘Shoe Project’ and really loved ‘Boxes’, he told me that my portfolio was ‘school level’ and that he hoped to see me in class. My mom almost cried. I mean shesh, I’m all nervy-frazzled from the interview and my mom is collecting her self over the map, and it wasn’t working, LOL! 8D
Than we tuck the Orange Buss to look at some of the dorms. As most buildings in SCAD, the dorms where renovated form something else, in this case they where hotels. Our tor dude was named ‘Yoshi Kidd’ (how CUTE X3). The dorms weren’t like, amazing or anything, but the court yards where FILLED with bikes, as in every lockable surface had a bike on it. And Yoshi goes “well actually, there are not a lot of bikes in there to day” and I’m like “THE HELL!?”
Than we had lunch, hosted by the school.
Than we talked with a admissions counselor, who helped me sort out some grading stuff (seeing as we are on 6.0 whale the rest of the world in on a 10.0) and the fact that I don’t take a language. And than I APPLIED! So …. Wow! 83
And THAAAAAAAAAN we got on the Blue Buss and went to the Film Studio and the Sequenceal Arts Center. The studio was <bold>AMAZZZZZZING </bold>!!!!!! There equipment is top notch, they have and awesome Green Room and Sound Stage, it was totally drool-a-bull! Sequenceal Arts was cool too, the stuff there putting out is pretty awesome. The lady told us about this speed drawing class that they have too, in which they go through a Schaech book a week. Oh, and apparently a lot of buildings in Savanna are haunted, and since most of the studies are renovated there haunted too. Like the administrative building was once a army hospital, and the Sequenceal Arts studio I haunted by old ladies seeing as it was a retirement home XD
After that Mim and I walked over the SCAD book store because they gave me a coupon and I wanted a fuzzi sweat shirt. What was really cool about the book store was that the pillars there where made out of books, like in real books, which looked cool. They also sold books there written by SCAD teachers and SCAD alumni. Plus there was another store we had gone to earlier in the day where they sold student products. I liked the ‘
lush Kill’ stuff, which was basically, mounted animal heads made out of soft cloth and made to look ‘kiwai’ (I have no other word to describe them, as much as it pains me)
Than we went back to the hotel and collapsed, as in, tuck a nap. After much prompting from my side because I was HUNGRY, we go out to fin edible sustenance. And after much wandering, we do to this little espresso bar called ‘Gallery Espresso’ and had some salads, which where good. I had a ginger salad that had mandarin oranges in it, I was really good but kind of spicy. And mom had some wine so she was content. I also had a hot coco, but the guy went all out and added wipcream, and chocolate sauce, and wight chocolate shavings X9 yum!
The shop was really cool too, as every thing in Savanna you could tell it was once something else seeing as there where patched of wight tile here and there on the floor. The shop sold lots of art and tea stuff, so here I am drooling over lovely tea pots and tea cups and drinking hot coco, lol. My favorite thing in the shop was these paintings of suitcase ex-rays, they where really COOL!

Well where on the train now. The morning was uneventful except for the fact that I LOST MY PHONE!!!!! Really, that’s like what, my third phone in two years DX
There had been a vending machine in the train station, and I had remembered that I had really wanted a Milkyway bar last time on the train, so I pull out a buck and go to the vending machine. Well in the dolor money place there is the stuck ripped peace of I five dollar bill, and I’m like FTW D8! So I get my tweezers out of my first aid kit and start to try to get it out, but than the train is called. Now my mom is gone out to get on the train because she’s spazztastic about getting a good window seat, and I’m running after her, with an open purse. Well half way there I dropped my phone, so I run all the way back and I cant find it, so I run all the way back to the spazzing Mim to tell her the news, because I’m frustrated that she went galloping out. So now where both flustered and she trips on the train stares and scrapes up her elbow, so nether of us are happy. Oh well, my Mim called Dad to cancel the phone, and there are codes on it so people probably cant get in any ways.
So we patch mom up with my first aid kit and than I sleep, until this crazy ashen conductor guy starts a’ yelling. And mean no one can understand him past the word ‘train’ and ‘seats’ lol. So since a lot of people got on later not all families and ect. could sit together, so that’s what the at shindig was about.
And than I slept again. XD
So not much happened. I mean, I finished my Poetry Project for lit, and I’m quite happy with it ^^, but passed that it was quite a mundane trip XP
